Krystallized Writing: Guides

Over Using Common Words

If you are starting your writing journey or have been doing this for a while, you may find yourself using common words over and over again. This could be for many different reasons, but here are a few tables and lists to help you find new ways to change up your writing.

Descriptions

Over time you may find yourself unsure how to describe something in your writing, perhaps due to using the same ideas or descriptions over and over. These could be things from weapon types, gem stone cuts, clothing styles, physical descriptions and many more.

I myself find that I will default to the same descriptions for things just purely off of the fact that I like them. However not everyone in a story can look the same, not every gem is the same type and cut, not every person uses the same weapons.

Below are some helpful images, charts and more to help broaden your own story.
